About Ashgabat time
Ashgabat keeps one clock.
Ashgabat, the gleaming white-marble capital of Turkmenistan, hums with a quiet steady rhythm set firmly five hours ahead of UTC, where business days start early under wide Central Asian skies, and the city’s government offices shimmer in gold-tinted glass, echoing the desert sun. To coordinate with remote teams, remember Ashgabat work hours overlap best with South Asia and the Gulf, while evenings stretch long into cool marble-lit nights—perfect for late calls with Europe before the steppe winds settle.
